For you to know: The old Bushwick, I remember very well, since 1964. Ghettos everywhere. But also Bushwick has had good things in the old days of the past. Stanwix and Flushing Ave, I remember had a Yankee Dinner Rest – many people used to dine there. That particular place succumbed, when Reingold Brewerey, moved out to New Jersey. With little customers to buy Food, they didn’t stand for too long.

My children went to P.S. 145 on Noll and Central, now full-grown men work for NYPD, and in good health.

P.S. Something I must mention is that Flushing Ave had a trolley service in the past. The only proof was ripped away when Flushing was rebuilt.
