Alternative Process/Chemigrams

This new series explores my disconnect, as a visual artist, between the original physical process of my darkroom art-making and the current act of primarily digital expression. Once again, I experiment with chemistry and photographic paper, however without the use of a photographic image this time, and I create camera-less images or, what are known as, chemigrams. Organic forms emerge on the paper and, for me, as an artist, it reignites a passion for experimentation and serendipity in an environment of controlled chaos.
